Installation • Peppermint OS Debian install issue

I have been a member of the Debian community for decades. BUT, like the new Peppermint 11 OS based on Debian. I have a multiboot system featuring Windows 10, Debian 12, Peppermint 10 OS, and Peppermint 11 OS. Each on a Terabyte drive or larger. I just noticed that the new install of Peppermint 11 and Debian 12 the grub2 bootloader has OS-Prober disabled as a security measure. Therefore Grub does not find all the drives and OS to add to update-grub. This appears to be intentional and currently not correctable. I did edit via uncomment the file /etc/default/grub.ucf-dist to read thus:
# If your computer has multiple operating systems installed, then you
# probably want to run os-prober. However, if your computer is a host
# for guest OSes installed via LVM or raw disk devices, running
# os-prober can cause damage to those guest OSes as it mounts
# filesystems to look for things.
# I uncommented the next line to allow grub2 to add other drives and OS.
GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER=false

I ran grub mkconfig and update-grub.
The loader still doesn't configure the other OS.
This is where I want help.
Thanks!!
