Hardware • [Solved] Keyboard Spanish (Latin American) layout accent key & Korean Layout not working after upgrade (iBus?)

Hello!

I've been using the Spanish (latin american) keyboard layout on my Debian 12 xfce for many months now without a problem. Same with the korean layout. Everything fit with my keyboard, everything worked great.

However, today when after the customary apt update, apt upgrade, the accent key does not work, whenever I press it nothing happens, it's as if the key doesn't exist. And the korean layout doesn't work at all - none of the keys work.

I have tried changing the layout to english us for example, and the same physical key works great (so it isn't a physical problem with my keyboard).

I have also tried all the variations of the Spanish Latin American layout available in xfce, and still, none of them have working accent keys.

I'm assuming there is some kind of problem with iBus and the things that were upgraded today. I have checked all the settings in iBus and everything is as it was before this problem.

Could this be some kind of bug? Everything worked great before the update.

Things I have tried:
- Trying other layouts to discard possible physical problems with my keyboard
- Changing the layout in both iBus and the keyboard preferences
- Making sure the ibus-daemon --xim is running (it is)
