I have a laptop with a 1T ssd, partitioned 500gig in Linux Mint and 500gig in Windows.
The ssd has the Windows partitions for it's UEFI and I ask here, as I don't want to cause it to get messed up by my installing Debian as I've never installed any Linux on the same device as Windows.
Also please point me to the page that has the installation using a thumb drive. Is there anything I should know to be wary of in replacing the Linux partition with Debian about Windows? Somewhere I read that the os-prober is not enabled by default on Debian install media? \
I'm familiar with GParted and will delete the Mint partition and have a blank space for Debian.
Any help greatly appreciated.
