I am trying to use and install Debian 12.5 using the live ISO, but my wifi adapter is not recognised. I'm booted into the GNOME desktop, and in the settings it says "no wi-fi adapter found". With the lsusb command in the terminal, it shows that it can see the adapter and has ID 2357:0138 TP-Link 802.11ac NIC. The nmcli command shows that I have a loopback device as well as ethernet.
I'm assuming this is because Debian does not include the particular firmware/drivers that my adapter needs, but unfortunately I have no way of connecting via ethernet to download them once I'm booted into Debian. Is there any way around this? I am wondering if there is any way to add the drivers to the ISO before I use it to boot, or if there is some way to specify what drivers you need when downloading the ISO. I was able to use wifi on Ubuntu that I had installed previously, for what that's worth.
Any help would be much appreciated
