I'm currently on Debian 12 with Linux 6.1.0 and NVIDIA drivers installed.
I tried connecting my laptop (HP Victus 15-fb0010nt) to my monitor yesterday and the image it drew was like the GPU was broken. But the interesting thing is that the cursor was being displayed and the sound was coming from the monitor's built-in speakers. The splash screen was also being displayed on the monitor properly but not the desktop or its apps.

After changing Nouveau for NVIDIA drivers, I couldn't connect to the monitor at all. It says "could not set the configuration for CRTC 503".
