Beginners Questions • Program Downloadable in One Debian Distro - Not Available in Another

I have a Debian server on which I installed IceWM and XORG and installed a program named xinput. I have a Debian Gnome install where I login with Gnome Classic on Xorg and the program xinput is not found when I try to install it.

I'm guessing this is a repository thing but maybe not. Any ideas?
