Hi all...
I just tried installing Debian Bookworm Edu from the offline installer: https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Statu ... tion_media
Once in the desktop, I tried doing sudo apt update but was unable to fetch the package lists.
I then tried using the netinst for the same distro, and noticed that 'Disabling Netinst CD in sources.list' came up during the install process.
Debian installed with netinst has no problem fetching the package list.
Just out of interest, what is the 'manual' way to Disable the CD image in sources.list if I were installing with the offline installer?
Also... if I use the offline installer, then do sudo apt update && apt upgrade once it's set up, is that effectively the same as using the netinst installer?
Thanks in advance
