hello
I want to install debian 12.5 on a Acer Aspire desktop computer
it has a 1 To. SSD disk inside
running the installation program through a CD/DVD boot I removed all existing partitions and created
1. a new EFI 100 Mb
2. a 16 Gb swap
3. 32 Gb / system
4. a remaining 970 Gb for /home
After all installation the system refuses to boot because it seems the only boot options are
1. microsoft EFI boot which now fails because it has been removed
2. CD/DVD boot
3. removalbe media USB stick
so I get a system boot error from microsoft boot saying that the boot system is corrupt
inside the BIOS boot options, there is no way to choose to boot on the SSD grub loader EFI
how can I boot the debian system ?
can I install a boot loader on the USB stick ?
if so please tell me how
I am so confused and really need help.
thank you
martin
