I was just looking for the forum guidelines/rules on the main board index page, but could only find it via a Google search. This really should be pinned there, instead of in a subforum, so it's clearly visible to all.
There are obvious unstated common sense rules that shouldn't need to be written, like "don't be a prick", "no doxxing", "no trolling", etc.
I have a question about staff approving posts. Is there an end to this? Like a post count threshold that a user needs to cross before manual approval of their posts is no longer required? I know that alot of forums enforce this with new users. Users need to build themselves up and prove they won't be problematic, spammy, etc. But if that forum is heavily trafficked and gets a lot of posts, it no longer makes sense to continue doing this past a certain point. It would use too much of staff's time, and besides that, anyone with moderator/administrator powers would still be able to edit posts regardless.
