The brand is Plugable. lshw reports it is configured for 1 Gbps, not 2.5 Gbps.

Code:

       description: Ethernet interface physical id: 7 bus info: usb@2:2 logical name: enx8cae4cddb102 serial: 8c:ae:4c:dd:b1:02 capabilities: ethernet physical configuration: autonegotiation=off broadcast=yes driver=cdc_ncm driverversion=6.1.0-16-amd64 duplex=half firmware=CDC NCM (NO ZLP) ip=192.168.1.54 link=yes multicast=yes port=twisted pair
I have configured it to manual 2.5 Gbps, not auto or ignore.
The cdc_ncm driver doesn't appear to respond to System Settings:Coinnections

How can I get 2.5 Gbps?
