Hi,
I am on KDE Plasma. As I like to distrohop (somehow), I used ventoy and booted to Ubuntu LTS.
It is Gnome, but they did a little modification (the vertical toolbar to the left and the search).
But honestly I feel more at home with KDE Plasma. I think it is more powerful and more customizable than Gnome.
I really liked how the Default Ubuntu LTS looks like and behaves (with this vertical tool bar to the left... etc.)
I searched and I found a KDE theme called Unity Evolution https://store.kde.org/p/2001745
So, out of curiosity, I booted to Kubuntu from my Ventoy USB and installed it. I am on it right now.
I like that I am still on KDE but enjoying the looks and behaviour of the Ubuntu LTS desktop.
Just before installing it on my Debian KDE (testing), I thought I better ask any users tried it or are actually using it?
How is it? Did it affect anything in KDE performance, functionality?
Any pros or cons?
I am just asking to get the opinion of users who are already on it or experienced with it. (though I am sort of "adventuros" and do lots of testing and playing around but I generally prefer not to install something unless I am sure I can keep it forever, I don't feel OK installing and uninstalling stuff all the time.
And I believe it is wise to get other peoples experiences and views, not only my own, this is how I learn more.
I will highly appreciate your feedback.
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: I just found a few other themes Unity like, may I add one more question, did anybody try? what would be best.
I found this theme "United" the most downloaded. https://store.kde.org/p/1167950/
