Hello,
I have more or less given up on virtualbox since I find it nearly impossible to login to oracle to access the vbox help forum. For that reason I am looking at switching to KVM with virt-manager. I found a very nice tutorial here (many thanks to pbear),
https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=158967
I have been trying to set up an install of Debian 12.6.0 AMD64 and I don't see anywhere in the virt-manager interface where networking can be shut off. There are networking items where the type of interface can be selected but nowhere I can see where you can choose to not have a network connection. It doesn't seem like virt-manager has a help forum or mailing list. In fact, when you search for "virt-manager help forum" the above post here is the first result.
I am hoping that a user here like pbear can answer this question. It may be that it is easier to accomplish this by directly managing KVM through CLI or an edit of configuration files and that is fine too.
Thanks,
LMHmedchem
