Hello everyone,
I am running Debian Trixie on my Asus Rog Strix laptop, and everything is fine, but there is still one issue that bugs me. While recently trying out the GNOME and KDE desktop environments, I have noticed that the FN+F2 and FN+F3 shortcuts for controlling the keyboard backlight level are actually working! But when I log in to LXQt that I still prefer (KDE is close behind, but its task bar is too thick), the shortcuts don't work . Since they DO work in the other DEs, I assume that the necessary driver is already installed. Any ideas what I could do to make them work in LXQt sessions?
It is possible to control the backlight level by editing the value in the file /sys/class/leds/asus::kbd_backlight/brightness file, but having the shortcuts work would be so much more comfortable!
