Hi all, please if anyone can shed some light on the following problem or how i may go about comparing previous kernel to the latest. please treat me as a dumb dumb, not totally stupid but still call myself beginner in regards to linux.

PROBLEM:
Audio from HDMI and Display Ports are all scrambled static pops audio doubled / echo and continues to play a few seconds after audio source stopped. This is with kernel 6.1.0-25-amd64. Audio is fine with standard 3.5mm jacks.

Upon boot there was also the following error " snd_hda_intel failed to load ctefx-r3di.bin (-2) " I downloaded the missing bin and placed in /usr/lib/firmware which made that error go away but does not solve the audio issue.

Have also played around with pulseaudio / pipewire / alsa all to no effect or changes.

With Kernel 6.1.0-23-amd64 everything is fine and no errors.

Sound Card is onboard - Creative CA0132 chip Sound Blaster Recon3Di
OS: Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) x86_64
Kernel: 6.1.0-25-amd64
DE: LXQt 1.2.0
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590

many thanks in advance either way.
