I wondering if anybody has used ghb handbrake in testing and found any subtitle faults?
I ask because handbrake in bookworm is broken, and I don't typically move anything to testing until December or so, based on past patterns of mine.
I do find references to the bug, patches, opinions, etc. and conclude ffmpeg>7 in trixie might fix it. Any first hand experience would be helpful. I'm not so motivated to hack up 12 to make it work, or run trixie pre-release on a main machine. I have working bullseye alternatives, and don't like that option either.

Not quite the exact use case, instead of DVD's my use concerns atsc broadcast closed captioning that has the same problem.
