With respect I am not trying to start a flame war regarding my question. I love the integrity and philosophy which Debian brings to the computing world and that is why I am here. I am at a stage where I must decide which direction to go and seek everyone's input.
On my previous operating system, Linux Mint, for the past three years Protonmail, Protonvpn, ProtonCalendar, were installed and were also installed on my iPhone and worked very well. I ran Linux Mint for three years and few days ago switched to Debian 12. I will stay with Debian but what to do with ProtonMail and it's other apps? Knowing Debian is "free software" I am struggling deciding to install or not install and go with Evolution. If I install then the principles Debian stands for ,,I violated that and now it's another OS like Linux Mint.
Please in all sincerity,,,what would YOU do? I did a search prior to posting this on the debian forum but found nothing regarding my question.
