Graphical Environments & Desktops • After restart, DE experiences critical errors for the first 2-3 attempts, then works as expected

After every reboot, the desktop environment (KDE plasma on Wayland) fails to load correctly, so I either can't login, or, when I login the taskbar is missing, I can't launch any programs and the meta button doesn't work. My 'fix' is to hard reset and usually after 1-2 more attempts, everything is normal until the next reboot.
