Hi,

I have installed Debian Bookworm on my Sony Viao laptop and it mostly runs just fine. However, "sudo dmesg" reports the following.

A web search has revealed that this was was handled in "Debian Bug report logs - #990662". In particular, it would seem that I need to carry out the steps outlined in Message #22 therein. In my case I am not sure which NVIDIA ,run package to use. As the system reports the same error message as that given in Message #5 of that Debian Bug report, can I just use the same NVIDIA .run package as listed in Message #22 or do I need to use another NVIDIA .run package ?

"sudo lshw -C Display" reports the following.
