I'm interested in using a Wayland DE.
Hi, I'm interested in labwc but the installation appears to be a pit of a project in itself:
https://github.com/labwc/labwc/wiki#debian
Has anyone set up labwc on Bookworm and can labwc be used as normal DE for general work? I.e. I don't want to use labwc if I go through a shaky/complex setup process only to find out that it's not production-suitable to begin with. I don't mind a few rough edges but I must be able to run programs and position windows etc. Internet searches also weaken confidence a bit, because labwc appears to be more associated with Raspberry PI as opposed to workstation desktop (but I'm not jumping to conclusions about that).
The reason for my interest in labwc was that I have used and liked OpenBox.
Any experiences with / recommendations of, Wayland DEs greatly appreciated.
