Hardware • Does anyone know a source for Thinkpad T430 slice battery?

I've got a Thinkpad T430 (11-12 years old), with Core i7 and 16 GB RAM -- still a very serviceable machine -- and I've got an extended internal battery (well, it sticks out the back) and a "slice" battery that connects on the case-bottom docking port -- together, when new, they gave me more than 3 1/2 hours of battery time in full operation (like playing Kerbal Space Program).

With age, however, the slice battery has (I think) developed a bad cell in one of the two parallel packs inside; it now shows a health of 45%. It charges and discharges normally, still runs the machine for an hour or so on its own, but it should be twice that -- and there doesn't seem to be a source of new slice batteries that isn't an obvious scam or someone on eBay selling a battery that's likely in no better shape than what I have for a premium price. I can still buy extended internal batteries, newly manufactured, but not the slice battery.

Does anyone know a source for slice batteries that fit this model (Lenovo's part number is 45N1017), or a reputable repairer who can/will replace bad cells or do a full re-cell for this battery? I'd very much like to be able to continue to haul this machine around when I'm out and need computing (without the need to bring the charger), but without the slice battery I only get at most about 90 minutes of working time.

Suggestions?
