I am trying to use aplaymidi to play a midi file, but I am not able to get any sound, even though it looks like it is playing.
The only listed port is:The same single port is listed on all my machines, and I suppose that an output port should be listed in order to get any sound. But how to get an output port listed?
I have sound font files installed. Timidity can play midi files, as can play audacity after some setup.
Any ideas will be appreciated.
