Hi, I am new to debian after using linux mint for a while. And I just wanted to know what if the I use C-states off instead of the performance governer? Because I can only use 1 at a time. If I try to find my current governer with a cat command, It just says no directory because I have turned off C-states in BIOS. I can fix this by turning them on and after that running a fsck on the installation.
In short, I just want to know will it be better to turn off C-states and EIST or rather use the performance governer for better performance.
In my opinion I must keep C-states and EIST off.
Thanks.
