Hey all.
I've just installed Debian 12 (cinnamon desktop) on my ageing Razer Laptop.
I have a non-functioning windows key and escape key.
My solution to this on Windows was using AHK (autohotkey) as follows:
capslock = win key
alt+capslock = capslock (toggle)
backtick key = Escape key
alt+backtick key = backtick key
This works flawlessly on Windows -- particularly important is that the 'caplock-as-winkey' works with combinatons, so if you hold the caps lock key down then use additional keys like 'x' or 'd' or 'e', then you get all the usual Windows desktop shortcut actions like showing the desktop, or opening a new explorer window, etc.
What would be a way to do this in Linux Debian?
