On a Lenovo 100S 11IBY )64bit processor/32bit firmware hybrid) Laptop with an Intel Atom 1.33gHz processor; 2GB of RAM. All audio seems to work except with Zoom. The Zoom app. for Debian is 64bit only - so presumably that's the issue; the video is OK; occasionally there is the sound of a voice which suggests that there is just a small impediment - maybe that was when joining via the Browser (Firefox ESR). I spent an hour going through ChatGPT's advice which I vaguely recall was mostly opening Pulse/Pipewire and trying all options. No Zoom audio settings had any useful effect; I'm investing the time on this post in hope that there is some "magic bullet."
