New to Linux. Is below correct understanding of the https://linux-hardware.org/ reports?

For matching driver, is PCI “8086:7af0:8086:0074” an unique identifier for hardware chip?

I would like to buy ASUS PRIME B660M-A WIFI D4.

In below (1), Ethernet is works, good news. However, Wifi is “DETECTED” but not WORKS

In (2), another board from same company, 8086:7af0:8086:0074 is listed as WORKS.

Does this imply that I can buy the PRIME B660M-A WIFI D4 (item 1) and both the Ethernet and WiFi will work?
