After upgrading to 6.12.x I had been experiencing the lockup during boot bug on nvidia cards (viewtopic.php?p=813854#p813854). I decided to go back to 6.11.7 and wait it out, figuring it was a software issue. Today after upgrading to 6.12.6 I can actually boot up and start X, but the I can't use the speakers on my monitor.
The audio mixer lists the HDMI audio out as "GP107GL High Definition Audio Controller", this is my monitor, but it says "(unplugged) (unavailable)". I know this is not a hardware issue as going back to 6.11.7 like before causes it to work again.
ETA: My monitor is plugged into my graphic card's HDMI out and takes audio from there.
My nvidia-driver version is 535.216.03-1
GPU is 1050Ti
