Beginners Questions • [O/S] System becomes unresponsive with Debian version "Debian GNU/Linux 12" with "colorhost.de"

Linux version 6.1.0-28-amd64 (debian-kernel@lists.debian.org) (gcc-12 (Debian 12.2.0-14) 12.2.0, GNU ld (GNU Binutils for Debian) 2.40) #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.119-1 (2024-11-22)

I am running virtual servers with Debian.

One of my systems becomes unresponsive after a while, less than a day.
I can't even ssh it anymore then.
The other two run normally, but they don't have Apache installed either.

I tried to "fix" it with an automatic boot as cronjob, because that worked a while ago when system updates first made something like this happen and then fixed it again.
But my

Code:

shutdown -r now
gives me
Failed to set wall message, ignoring: Transport endpoint is not connected
Call to Reboot failed: Transport endpoint is not connected
I googled about it and other people connected this message to mount points so I asked in this forum about my "mount" output and it seems to be ok.

So, now I am back at zero and have no idea how to proceed.

In which log could I look for what kind of message?

I mean, I do find in syslog messages like the following, I just don't know if they are normal or not or if they have anything to do with my problem.

Code:

IO: bind(28) AF_INET6 2a00:f820:14::1c96:8f54#123      flags 0x1 failed: Cannot assign requested address4648 2025-01-05T16:19:56.504571+01:00 www ntpd[844]: IO: unable to create socket on eth0 (12) for 2a00     :f820:14::1c96:8f54#1234649 2025-01-05T16:19:56.504678+01:00 www ntpd[844]: IO: failed to init interface for address 2a00:f82     0:14::1c96:8f54
Not sure if it is relevant, but I just saw the dates on my log files which are at least weird, but probably point to a problem:

Code:

Apr 28  2015 fsckApr 28  2015 installerOct 20  2017 mysql.errNov 17  2017 mysql.logNov 17  2017 dmesgDec 15  2021 mediawikiMay  3  2022 mysqlMay  3  2022 privateMay  3  2022 runitMay  3  2022 journalApr 17  2024 debugApr 17  2024 messagesApr 17  2024 daemon.logApr 17  2024 fontconfig.logApr 17  2024 README -> ../..Apr 17  2024 faillogDec  1 00:00 alternatives.loJan  5 00:00 apache2Jan  5 00:19 exim4Jan  5 08:46 aptJan  5 08:50 dpkg.logJan  5 08:57 wtmpJan  5 08:57 lastlogJan  5 09:09 cron.logJan  5 09:11 syslogJan  5 09:14 btmpJan  5 09:15 auth.logJan  5 09:15 firehol.logJan  5  2025 kern.logJan  5  2025 user.log
I mean, "messages" not changed since 8 months? Or is "messages" not in use any longer by current Debians?
