I have a clean install of Debian with the testing repo added to my apt sources.list.
My microphone is not recognized in the default gnome sound settings app.
I've grepped thru dmesg using `dmesg | grep 'sof\|firmware\|audio'` and don't see anything suspicious to me, but not sure how to properly diagnose the issue.
Interestingly, I have another laptop which just started having the same issue (both Lenovo laptops with Intel cpu)
uname -a
Linux alpha 6.12.9-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.12.9-1 (2025-01-10) x86_64 GNU/Linux
I'm unsure how alsa/pipewire/drivers/etc all fit together to make my microphone work, so unsure where the best spot is to dig into.
Thank you in advance for any assistance, and apologies if I'm in the wrong topic with this post!
