Hi fellas,
I am completely new to Debian. I boot into the graphical install and select manual partition 'cause I want to use along Windows. So I have this huge hard-drive (1 TB) with Windows and approx. 386 GB free.
I want to dedicate ~64 GB to Linux. I go into manual partition and select the drive and then "resize partition".
Anyway, so...the issue here is when I want to do this, it says "min. 557 GB". I cannot select a smaller value.
BTW (haha) yesterday I made a huge mistake when I tried fiddling with LVM. I did something horribly wrong (the Windows partition wasn't even NTFS anymore) and then got really frightened that my Windows-install wouldn't work. Sure indeed, when I reboot:ed then the repair-function automatically started and fixed everything. *PHEW*
So...any clues as to the size?
