Installation • To keep LVM partitions or to install anew from backup?

Hello all! I'm intended to upgrade from Bulleye to Trixie. The main issue here is my partitions. They are distributed among two OSes: Windows and Debian. There's two HDDs. Main SSD of 512 GB and HDD of 1 TB. Both are devided among OSes about evenly. Due to SWAP demands I've assigned 16 GB for SWAP partition to be equal to RAM. Debian is installed at half of SSD for '/' partition. Half of the HDD is designated to '/home' . Most problems were met with '/boot' partition missing. I have to assign it and segregate from '/'. The main challenge I have to face here is 'LVM' security encription which is set to all my Debian partitions. Would it be better to waist some time restoring backup from NAS downloading files to '/home' or is it possible to keep old LVM based partition during system upgrade?
