I need newer firmware for my AX210. I've downloaded it and it works when placed in /lib/firmware
I've run update-initramfs and it loads after a reboot, but the firmware file is missing from /lib/firmware
After another reboot, the firmware fails to load at all.
It seems like the something is wiping /lib/firmware of non-package files on reboot, sometime after loading firmware. Is this the case? Is this intended behavior? The wiki doesn't mention anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
