There's a new SMTP protocol exploit in the wild. Postfix supports a mitigation via a configuration parameter, but only starting in version 3.5.20.
The version of Postfix in Debian 11 is 3.5.18, and I (and maybe lots of others) am not in a position to immediately upgrade to Debian 12.
Other than building it myself, is there a process for requesting that the distributed Postfix for Debian 11 be bumped to a more recent version?
Thanks
