General Questions • [Software] getting an AttributeError when ading the non free repo

i was following the wiki to update my nvidia-driver (bookworm)

when adding the non-free repo i get this error: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'file', and the repo fails to add

is there a fix for this?
