Some time ago I installed debian 12 on my HP G42, and out of curiosity I decided to inspect the dmesg output. I wasnt able to find anything interesting, but found this warning being spammed multiple times and in different instances across the whole dmesg output:I wasnt able to find what it means. It doesnt seem to be critical because, so far, I've had no problems at all with my laptop.
But, I wanted to know what that meant and if it could be fixed.
Here is the output from dmesg
Code:
ACPI Warning: Time parameter 255 us > 100 us violating ACPI spec, please fix the firmware. (20220331/exsystem-141)
But, I wanted to know what that meant and if it could be fixed.
