Hi Debianers,
I was using chromium for quite a long time on my XFCE desktop. Until now it used to automatically detect that I was using a dark theme. However, I recently installed flatpak (I didn't install chromium from flatpak, I just installed flatpak and a game from flatpak). After that out of nowhere chromium switched to light theme automatically. I can switch to dark theme from the settings, but when I ask it to pick the device theme, it picks light theme. How does chromium determine if a system is using light or dark theme??
Also I saw that the environment variable $XDG_DATA_DIRS was edited when I installed flatpak. Inaddition to the existing directories in the environment variable it added some more stuff. Is that the reason for this behaviour??
Thanks in advance!
