General Questions • libssl1.1 and Debian 12

Hello everyone,

Debian 12 is running on my home server. Now I wanted to try AirConnect (https://github.com/philippe44/AirConnect), but AirConnect requires the outdated library libssl1.1, which is no longer available in the normal Debian 12 repositories. Only libssl3 is still available here.
I would therefore have to install libssl1.1 via backport or manually.

My question now is: Do you see a security problem in installing the outdated library?
