Testing And Unstable • [SID - Unstable] Boxes QCOW2 ?

I have a virtual drive Win11.qcow which has been working fine in SID
Today, 8 June 2024, Boxes wants to open a qcow2 file. Is this going to be the new standard, in which case how do I convert qcow to qcow2?
Or, is this a bug, and do I just wait it out?
