Graphical Environments & Desktops • How to immediately switch from alt+tab to super+arrow?

There's a certain behavior in Ubuntu GNOME that I'd like to replicate now that I'm on Debian KDE. That is, when I use alt+tab, in ubuntu, I can immediately slide my finger from alt to the "windows" super key, to then use with arrow keys in tiling windows. If I try this on KDE, however, even after moving to the super key, it seems to stay stuck on the alt-tab view, and windows won't respond to tiling shortcuts. It doesn't get "stuck" if I switch more slowly.

Is there any way to change this so that it's smoother/faster like in gnome? I'm brand new to Debian+KDE so I'm not sure what would handle these events. I know it's a petty issue, but due to almost 2 years of muscle memory, it's bugging me to death
