General Questions • [Software] where is the xfce4-weather-plugin?

I've been using xfce on several distros over time even some Debian based distros. In all cases I've been able to get the weather app for the panel to work but not for Debian itself.

The plug in is there and it's the current release...I'm using Bookworm 12.8.

I've looking around on the internet and have seen some strange resolutions for something that just work in the first place. :(

When I load the icon onto the panel a press the icon it says "Please select a location in the plugin settings". Every other distro I've ever run just loads the information for my city. It's strange that this works in Debian variants but not Debian itself.

Does anyone have a resolution to this? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
