I have Debian 12 with kde plasma and Wayland, and am facing an issue with automatic blocking of sleep and screen lock when a media is playing.
When a media is playing, it is recognised by the system and, in the power management system this message appears :
"Firefox is currently blocking sleep and screen locking (video-playing)"
But in fact it is not preventing the screen from locking and it locks after the normal time I set. Clicking on "manually block sleep and screen locking" works and prevents locking.
I am really not sure where the issue could comes from and would be grateful for any help as I am quite new on linux.
Thank you in advance.
P.S. The issue also happens on my second computer with the same system. Which makes me believe that I did something wrong in the settings.
